"I know how he really is."
A low growl escaped his throat, barely audible. It seemed the more she drank, the less she was talking. Of course she was talking, but not what Mike wanted. Mike wanted the juicy stuff; the stuff that would make Kelly squirm.
"So ya only talking to be because I'm Jack's sister?"
Mike's eyes widened. He hadn't meant for it to come across like that. True, he had only talked to her because she looked like Jack, but now that he knew she was a leader, Mike really wanted to talk to her. She stood up, ranting about how Mike was a rude jerk. Mike stood up immediately, ignoring the drunk stares they were getting.
"No, I didn't mean that...." He reached for her arm and pulled her back. "Come on, love..." He kept a firm grasp on her arm. He wasn't ready to let go this fast.
"Jack is a complete jerk! He only thinks me as a little girl! I'll show him one day that I'm not a little girl I'm not his little sister!"
Aha! That is what Mike wanted. He pulled her closer to him, and leaned toward her ear. "What if I told you I knew a way to show him that?" He knew this might be a little bit forward, but he really needed her. She could be the piece that fit his evil puzzle together.
"Ya, ya a liar! Ya just talkin to me because I'm Jack's sister! Ya a rude jerk!"
Mike blinked and took a step back. He watched in astonishment as she took another drink, no gulp, of her alcohol. She wobbled as she tried to walk out and Mike reached out to steady her. "I'm sorry," he said, through gritted teeth. He hated apologizing, but she was a drunk and raving girl and he didn't know any other way to calm her.
His mind searched for an idea. He needed to get her calm and talking again. "Why don't we go to my place and talk?" And thats all he meant. He had no intention of doing anything to Jack Kelly's sister; not yet.

"What if I told you I knew a way to show him that?"
This caught Jinks' attention, "How?" she asked and noticed that they where close, really close. She was close enough to her to see his features of his face. He was really handsome; he had peach fuzz that looked like it was turning into a mutates. She was interested in him, but he doesn't have her heart yet just part of it.
"How can I show him?" she asked not wanting to wait any longer for the key to how to show Jack that he's no longer the boss of her. She's a leader and she doesn't need anyone to take care of her. Staten Island and Manhattan are two different newsies and her newsies is better, her newsies don't take anything from Spot Conlon. She taught them that.
"Why don't we go to my place and talk?"
One thing she knew was never go to a boys place alone unless it was a newsie or another leader. "Um...no thanks," she said "But if you really want to talk we can talk in Staten Island." she suggested, hoping he won't say no. It's safer when your own newsies are just down stairs and if they here something out of the ordinary they can just rush up and see what is happening.

"How? How can I show him?"
Mike smirked. He had her full attention now, even though she was drunk. Sibling rivalry. What a beautiful thing. Mike almost wished he had a brother or sister, just to have sibling fights. They were so pointless and worthless, but yet so fun. If he could get her mad enough at Jack, he figured he had her in the palm of his hands.
"Well," he began slowly. Truthfully, he hadn't really thought through this in his mind. How was he going to ask her to join him without making it sound bad... "I've met Jack before." He finished truthfully. He waited for that to set in. She was probably going to be mad that he lied to her...
"But if you really want to talk we can talk in Staten Island."
He was glad that she was calming down. He really didn't know how to deal with a ranting woman. When she suggested Staten Island, Mike couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. He half expected her to jump at the opportunity to be alone with him.
But it didn't matter, as long as he had her trust. That is all that mattered. "Of course. Whatever you want..." he began, softly. "But I can't right now." He lied. He really didn't want to be around all of those newsies. Not until he had some people to back him up if something went wrong.
{Not very good, sorry}

"I've met Jack before."
"Then why where ya asking me so may questions about him?" she asked "How did you meet him?" she asked him wondering how this all happened. First he talks to her just because she's Jack's sister and now he has been lying to her the entire time? What's wrong with the world today?
"Just tell me how I can show him I'm not a little girl anymore." she said sitting back down pulling Mike to sit down also. She was all ears. She wasn't gong to miss out on this conversation she needed a trick and he had the idea that she wanted.
"But I can't right now."
"Why not?" she asked "If ya worried about my newsies ya don't have to be. They won't hurt ya much." she said smirking at the last part. Mike was so distant, she didn't understand why. That name Mike was still going around her head, and then it came to her.
Her eyes widened. "Ya I know who ya are," she said frozen to where she was the name finally came to her. Her brother's voice going around her head saying 'I told you so.' He was Mike D. Greaser!

"How did you meet him?"
Mike cleared his throat, then, "We've had an interesting past..." He sighed and looked away. "I'm surprised he never told you..." Mike decided to play the sympathy card. If he could get her to believe that Jack had done something terrible to him, maybe Jinks would help Mike. Maybe Mike had this under control. Maybe.
"Just tell me how I can show him I'm not a little girl anymore."
She pulled him to sit next to him. Maybe she wasn't as drunk as he thought. But even if she was, Mike knew how to handle this. He would get her. She prodded him to tell her what she had to do. Mike smirked and leaned toward her ear, "Revenge." A simple word. One simple word that drove Mike. One word that decided every move Mike would ever make. On bloody word.
"Why not? If ya worried about my newsies ya don't have to be. They won't hurt ya much."
Mike chuckled lightly and took another chug of his drink. "No, I'm not afraid of anything, love," he stated, non- chalant. "I just have a few things to... uh... take care of." Truth be told, he was planning on meeting with Jack. They needed to talk. And that was it. Mike simply wanted to talk and hopefully gain his trust back. It couldn't be that hard, right?
"Ya I know who ya are,"
Mike thought nothing of her comment. She was drunk, thats all. Placing his arm around her, Mike took another sip of his drink and chuckled. "Do ya, love? Why don't you enlighten me?"
{Be careful with your post. I can't tell if your drunk or not... But besides that, very good post!}

{I'm sorry I don't really know how to be drunk which is a good thing } "I'm surprised he never told you...""He told me some of the story," she said thinking back to the night before she first got drunk. It was quite a night first she punched Jack and then he told her to go home before she hurts someone and then she came to the pub. She actually wished she'd listen to him. But right now she didn't care she'd do anything to get Jack back. She'd do anything to prove him wrong about everything. She's old enough to make her own decisions she's old enough to do anything she wanted to. "Revenge."Jinks raised an eye brow. "Revenge? What kind of revenge?" she asked tapping her fingers on the table for another drink, things started to get blurry. She rubbed her eyes hoping it would help but it didn't. She leaned her head on Mike's shoulder she couldn't see strait. "Do ya, love? Why don't you enlighten me?"She looked up at him not caring who he really was, "Ya Make D. Greaser, Jack's told me about ya. I could care less." she said smiling seeing how surprised he was. Her drink came and she took a sip of it.

"He told me some of the story,"
Mike flinched and turned to look at her. Mike had figured Jack had told her all about him, and probably lied. Mike was curious as to what Jack really thought of him. "What did he tell you?" Jack probably exaggerated everything Mike had done. If Jinks wasn't drinking so much, she probably would be fuming at him. Any sister would.
"Revenge? What kind of revenge?"
Mike raised his eyebrows as Jinks ordered another drink. That had to be, what, her fifth since he got here? Eying the bartender, Mike replied, "I want Manhattan..." His tone was non-chalant and he turned back to Jinks. He was being truthful and to the point. His eyes searched hers and he waited for her reaction. All of her reactions were slow and slurred. All those drinks were starting to have an effect.
"Ya Mike D. Greaser, Jack's told me about ya. I could care less."
Mike smirked at her and laughed, "Really now?" He was waiting for her to say more. Did she really not care?

"What did he tell you?"
"He told me that ya hate newsies and ya tried to take over our world." she said she was getting tired she was on the verge of passing out right there. She was on her fifth drink, she drinks all the memories away so then she doesn't have a past. That's how she can't remember things that happened a long time ago.
"I want Manhattan..."
"Why?" she asked keeping her head on his shoulder, it was the only thin keeping her off the round. "What do ya get from it?" she asked she groaned as everything started to get dark. She couldn't go home like this her newsies would tell Jack and he'd get mad, but it was time that he got use to this. She can't be afraid of what he thinks anymore. She's her own person.
"Really now?"
"Yea really," she said and giggled again. "I've always wanted to meet you." she added "From the stories that everyone told me ya sound like a dare devil." she said as it was going black. "Could you do me a favor, if I pass out take me to my brother and tell him I was drinking. I don' care what he says anymore." she said taking another sip.

{Alright, girly, Mike is making something happen!}
"He told me that ya hate newsies and ya tried to take over our world."
Mike had to laugh at her non-chalant manner. She was drunk, there was no denying it. She started to lean on him. Oh no, Mike thought, if she passes out... He started to freak out and tried to push her off his shoulder. If she passed out on his shoulder, what was he supposed to do with her?!?
"Why? What do ya get from it?"
Mike raised his eyebrows and scoffed. "Why?" He began, amazed at her question. "Manhattan leads to Brooklyn; Brooklyn leads to the other boroughs. Soon, I will rule the newsies!" His voice held triumph, and it made him smirk. Right now, with Jack's little sister drunk and out of it, Mike felt like he had already won.
Jinks groaned and Mike's smirk turned into a frown. "Maybe you should stop drinking, love..." Mike was hesitant. He gave the bartender a look, telling him to stop getting drinks for her. If she had anymore, she might not make it home. And Mike wasn't taking her home. That would be suicide!
"Could you do me a favor, if I pass out take me to my brother and tell him I was drinking. I don' care what he says anymore."
Mike ignored her compliment, saving ti for later use. Right now all he was worried about was the whole passing out and taking her to Jack thing. This was not happening! She took and drink and before she set it back down, Mike grabbed for the drink. He pulled it out of her hand while saying, "Jinks! Stop!" Her hand fell limp and he knew then that she was gone.
He set the drink down and grabbed her face. He turned her so she was facing him. Yep, she was gone. Mike shook her, "Come on, love. Don't do this to me! Do you want me to be killed!?!?" Mike started to panic and shake her harder. People started to stare and some started to advance toward him.
Mike sighed and hoisted Jinks out of the bar stool. He laid money down at the table, and headed out of the bar. Once outside, Mike slid down to the ground. Jinks lay on his lap. Sighing, Mike tried once more to make her wake up. Nothing.
"Great, Jinks! This is bloody great!" He threw is hands in the air and huffed. Finally, after mulling over the possibilities, Mike hoisted Jinks unto his shoulder. He was surprised at how little she weighed. "Well, I'm glad your not fat, or else we might to be able to make it." And with that, Mike was off into the night.
{I like this post. There may be some memorable quotes from this one....}

"Manhattan leads to Brooklyn; Brooklyn leads to the other boroughs. Soon, I will rule the newsies!"
"Ya can' rule the newsies! Ya not qualified." she said laughing at the fact that he wants to rule the newsies. She closed her eyes and then heard Mike saying no more drinks, and then her eyes shot open. "NO! I need my drinks!" she yelled trying to reach for the drink, she couldn't grab it. It was too much work for a drunken girl to do.
She took another drink of his."Jinks! Stop!" Then she passed out. She went into her deep sleep that she remembers. She doesn't dream here, she's just surrounded by memories. Her first word that she shared with her brother. Her calling her brother daddy. Now she remembers why her brother hated their father so much.
She now doesn't want to meet him, but she already sent word to meet him. She just doesn't know where. Different memories came to mind. It was a woman; she couldn't comprehend who she was. Then she found out, she was Mary. Her mother. Jinks finally gets to see what she looks like and now she won't remember. That memory left, now she went where she was alone.
Her memories of her getting soaked so bad that she lost her memory once, being afraid wanting her brother. She needed her brother; she remained in her old house till she was ten years old. Then when she set it on fire with her memories fallowing it, she stayed in the burning house hoping it would take her with the house. After that she doesn't remember what happened she passed out because of the smoke.
