((unfortunately the jackson five were not a live yet, so.. bad bad bad people))
Blake made his way down to manhatten. Why might you ask? Because word got out that they were having a get together... a party if you will. And who always has to make an apperence at parties? That right, you guessed it... Blake! So here he was, dressed in... normal clothes. Its amazing!! Thats right, Blake is actually dressed in what most newsies are seen in though his came in the form of a dark blue shirt and black pants with a black vest over it.
Making his way through the streets he headed to the manhatten lodging house. He could already hear his fellow manhatteners and whoever else who'd decided to show up, in side. Opening up the door s he smirked.
"Hey fellas"He said, "Since when does a party start without me? Im hurt.."He gave them all a mock look of sadness as he placed a hand over his heart. "But you're lucky I am in a forgiving mood, cause this time you are all saved from my revenge wrath"he smirked.
"anyway... so, whats happening?"he asked the closest person. 'Did I miss anything?"

Cowgirl had been upstairs messing around with a few of the boys, because they had gotten into her drawer and grabbed her journal book and cigarette case,"ya lousy B--tards, get back hereh,"she yelled which was rare for her, she never was the mean kind unless you touched her priozed possessions, or you were Gabbi Mcginn. She ran downstairs after one of them and down into the party, she tripped on the last step and stumbled right into Blake.
She caught herself on him and murmured,"So sorreh, didn' mean ta...."she trailed off as her eyes gazed up meeting his,"Ey it's you, how's it goin Pup...."she teased laughing abit, she knew he didn't want her calling him that in public, but she said it low enough for only him to hear, so she assumed it was ok.

Dreamer opened the door to the Manhattan Lodging House with a curious look in her dreamy eyes. She had heard that there was a party going on, and she thought it might be a good idea to make some new friends. As she stepped in, a few boys were running past her with a journal and a cigarette case in their hands. At first she raised an eyebrow as they ran into the other room, but she shook her head and thought nothing of it.
,"ya lousy B--tards, get back hereh,"
Dreamer gasped. Someone was mad. Raving mad. She recognized the voice, but someone else was coming out of the room beside where she stood. A guy she didn't recognize at all.
"That's it," she thought to herself. "Not taking any chances if someone's mad,"
With that, she backed herself into a corner, hoping the shadows could hide her. Why did she have to be so afraid of strangers and people who were angry?

When he had organized a party at the Lodging House, Jack had been expecting chaos. It didn't matter that there was chaos, which he was used to and could even enjoy sometimes. He was highly enjoying himself as he watched some boys run by with Cowgirl's journal and ciragette case. He didn't worry about it, knowing the boys in question didn't stand a chance against Cowgirl once she caught up with them. Blake entered the Lodging House, as usual in a blaze of sarcastic glory. "Hey fellas. Since when does a party start without me? Im hurt.. But you're lucky I am in a forgiving mood, cause this time you are all saved from my revenge wrath."
"I'm shakin' in my boots..." Jack quipped, giving Blake a pat on the back by way of welcome. "Make yourself comfortable, Blakey. Plenty more fellas to come, so find a spot and stick with it..." In reality Jack had no idea how many people would be coming. He glanced around, scanning the room with his arms crossed, as if taking inventory. He noticed Dreamer standing in a corner, and thought she shouldn't stay like that all night. He caught her eye and winked at her. "You okay there, kiddo?"

Blakes walk in of glory was interrupted by Cowgirl running into him. "Ey Poet!"he laughed, "Fallin' for me so quickly"he shook his head.'Man.. I dont even gotta work for nothing anymore.. it all keeps landing at my feet"He winked playfuly at her.
He smirked at Jack. 'Hey.'He said. 'you better... I know where you live... and sleep.. strangely enough"He looked from side to side then gave a half grin. "and man do you look adorable when you sleep"He wiggled his brows at him. "Woah, keep the thoughts clean buddy"he joked before looking over at dreamer. Hed felt someoen come in behind him and raised his brows. Hed never met her before and he neveer passed it up.
Seeing Jack talking to her he took a step next to him. 'Hey..'He said with a grin. "So jacky whos this?"

Cowgirl straightened herself up and laughed abit nudging Blake's arm with her shoulder,"well I may be fallin' fer ya in so many ways ya couldn't imagine hun, and it's such a shame yer not a mind reader,"she teased smiling and lighting up her face, she'd deal with the hoodlums later, she'd knife 'em if they did anything to her journal or cigarette case, those were all she had left from the fire....
Her eyes met Jack and Dreamer, she knew Dreamer and smiled,"ey there Dreameh, ya find Foster?"she asked. "Oh by the way, this is Jack,"she added remembering last time they met, she had asked who he was.
She shifted abit and stood between Blake and Jack,"Ey Jackyboy, guess what people's been askin' me dese days, surprisingly,"she said smiling.

Gabbi slid into the Manhattan Lodging house, not intending on staying long but long enough to say a few words to Blake. Nothing particularly inspiring, of course, but enough. She felt out of place and awkward the moment she walked in but didn't let it get to her, not so much anyway. Awkward things often solved themselves, elsewise they were tucked away and usually not mentioned again.
She approached Blake quietly, once she was sure it was him, and rolled her eyes as her number one annoyance said something revolting. "Gee Blake, I'se didn't think youse were one ta fall for such....." she wrinkled her nose, "nicknames." She shrugged a bit and looked over at Cowgirl, but didn't say hello. She merely nodded a hello to the other two occupants of the room and then settled, albeit a bit uncomfortably, on the nearby wall.
Of course she didn't fall out of reach of Blake, but she made sure to keep out of the way of Cowgirl for fear that she'd spill her blood impulsively with witnesses around. Any other time would have been key, and she remained armed all the time, but now would not be choice. Not with so many eyes and mouths, very few of which were familiar to her and even less that would defend her.

Dreamer shifted her eyes back and forth, and gazed at new and different people. At first she was a bit nervous and shy when the guy with the cowboy hat winked at her, then she felt herself blush! She gasped and tried to turn away, but she was in a corner. He would still see either way. Had she even blushed before?
"You okay there, kiddo?"
She did a quick nod, before averting her eyes again shyly. She didn't want him to see her blush again. At first she thought she saw Starsage coming in, but it must've been her imagination
Another boy had come in to see what was going on. Another stranger to Dreamer. When he heard him call the cowboy "Jack", Dreamer wondered if this was the "Jackey-boy" that Cowgirl had told her about before.
,"ey there Dreameh, ya find Foster?"
Cowgirl! Someone Dreamer knew! Turning her full attention to Cowgirl, Dreamer didn't seem so shy in front of the others anymore.
"Um, the last I heard where he was," Dreamer said softly. "He was back over at Staten Island. Starsage took me back earlier, but...heh...well, couldn't sleep, and I heard there was a party, and I thought it might help get my fear of strangers under control...so far, it's not working,"

((mind if I join))
Foster placed his hands in his pockets as he made his way down the street. He'd heard there was a party going on in Manhatten, but he wasnt sure if he should go or not. He wasnt very good in groups, but he wanted something to do and it seemed most of the people were here.
Making his way up the steps he opened up the door and slipped in. Everyone seemed to have their attention on something else, so he was pretty sure he hadnt been noticed. Moving over towards the stairs he leaned against the railing and just stood there giving a nod to anyone that said hi to him.

"Woah, keep the thoughts clean buddy."
Jack scoffed. "Whoa, kiddo. Mine's is clean. More than I can say for yours..." He thudded Blake on the shoulder. "So jacky whos this?" It took Jack a moment to realize he had been talking about the girl standing in the corner by herself. Jack shrugged to Blake. "Dunno...no one's bothered tell me her name yet..."
"Oh by the way, this is Jack,"
Cowgirl had called her Dreamer. Jack nodded to Dreamer with a grin. "How goes it, Dreamer?" he said, trying to be friendly. He clapped Blake on the shoulder. "This here's Blake. Harlem. Up to no good."
"Ey Jackyboy, guess what people's been askin' me dese days, surprisingly,"
"Whassat?" He said, wondering what Cowgirl could be talking about. Gabbi came in, and Jack nodded to her by way of greeting. Starsage, too, entered. "Hey, Jacky. How ya been?"
"Just fine, kiddo...y'self?" He clapped Starsage on the shoulder. The door opened, and an unfamiliar newsie entered. Jack stepped toward him. "Who're you?" he demanded. He didn't care who came into the party, but he didn't want any grafters or low-lives.

When she heard Jack ask a newsie who he was, Dreamer looked at the direction he was looking and saw Foster. She felt so relieved now. She was wondering where they boy who helped her get away from the police with an apple was.
"Hey Foster," she said softly, but loud enough for Jack to know who he was.

Jinks heard from her newsies that there was a party in Manhattan she was insulted that her brother didn't invite her. She got to the door to the lodging house and went in. She saw that everyone was having a good time.
She saw Foster over by the by the stairs. "Hey Foster," said Jinks walking up to him.

Cowgirl smiled at Dreamer as she watched her for a moment, she was such a good girl it seemed, and shy, she felt abit bad about the people crowding around, but you learn to get used to it after awhile.
"Whassat?"
Cowgirl turned to Jack when he questioned what she had to tell him and she smiled and waited a moment as she noticed Foster walk in and Jack walk over to him questioning his being. She laughed slightly and walked over to Jack and put a hand on his shoulder before looking at Foster,"he's ok Jackyboy, he's one a yer sistahs boys,"she said. She went back to deciding to answer his questioning of her comment. She smiled and stood up abit on her tip toes so she could tell him in his ear. She sighed,"people keep askin' meh if you and I are smittin'...I think it's cute..."she whispered laughing slightly, as much as she wished it were true...she knew it probably wouldn't happen.

David entered the Lodging House, looking extremely wary. He wasn't exactly one to go attending parties, but he figured he might as well stop by. He was always being told that he was too anti social. Determined to prove this wrong, he showed up at this party, wondering all the time why he'd come in his usual cynical nature.
He headed straight for Jack as he entered, walking past Cowgirl, someone he really didn't know all that well. "Well... I'm here, Jack," he stated, spreading his arms for a moment to further announce his arrival. He placed his hands in his pockets, glancing around the room. Apparently this party wasn't confined to only Manhattan boys. There were definitely newsies from other boroughs, and he noted that at least one Brooklyner had shown up. His mouth twisted into a little grin. When Brooklyners showed up at a party, things were always bound to be interesting.
