Cowgirl sighed as she sat next to the Horace Greeley statue, her back leaning against the cool marbleish structure beneath the small amount of shade. Her eyes glistened slightly beneath her cowgirl hat as she took a drag on her cigarette and looked up at the blue sky, so much to worry about, not enough time. She watched a few passersby in curiousity before turning her gaze back to the sky, if only to be free, she thought,"if only to be free as a bird in da sky, to spread out wings, and freely fly..."she muttered in her poetic way.

"scuse me sir."Blake said bumping into the gentleman 'accidently'. He tipped his hat to the man, who didnt seem to accuse him of anything. Though he should have considering Blake just swiped his money pouch. THough the man had no reason to think so, not only was blake that smooth at what he did that you didnt feel a thing, but he was dressed in such a way that he looked like he was of wealthier society. That last bit always gave him that higher advantage with high society. Why would one of their own try to pick pocket them.
Blake started to whistle as he headed towards the greely statue, though instead of walking past he walked around the other side. Hed spotted the girl leaning against it, she seemed deep in thought. He could never pass up a pretty girl.
"Penny for your thoughts?"he asked flipping her a penny, his brows raising as he gave her a charming grin.

Cowgirl looked up and caught the penny in her hands,"ey, and what do I owe this lovely visit fer?"she asked as she smiled and took off her hat and set it beside her. Her eyes sparkled as the sun met them and she looked him over,"ya don' seem ta be da type dat would normally talk ta a goil like me..."she added as she ran a hand through her hair.
She put her cigarette out and fidgetted abit before tilting her head to the side and meeting his eyes after summing him up,"where ya from stranger?"she asked abit flirtatiously as she grinned.

blake shrugged. "Owe the great pleasure to anything you like"he said, "and Ill remind you, looks can be decieving'He nodded and shrugged, leaning his arm against the statue as he looked down at her. He lifted his hand up to take his own hat off and hang it on the finger of his other hand. Using his free hand he ran it through his short hair and then brought it back down as he started to twirl the hat between his hands.
"mm..'He said. "Here... and there. and you?"he asked. "are you from the lovely manhatten area, or are you travelig from elsewhere?"he asked quirking his brow at her.

"Didnt say you weer a gooddy goody or not."He said with a shrug, "Just figured you needed some company, you were sitting her all by yourself'He turned a bit so he could look at her.
"mm.. what do I do?"he asked.. "a little bit of this and a little bit of that... Jack of all trades if you will"He nodded and looked at her again. "You?" though he was pretty sure she was a newise, he was going to do the conversation.

"Ya have some gorgeous eyes..."she muttered absently, not aware she was saying much of it.

"ah..'He said, "So... "He raised his brow. 'Poet..'He dubbed her since she hadnt seemed to give him her name. 'a manhatten newsie and a poet, well how much better can that be"He shrugged. "and yes the more the merrier, you dont selling for the day?"he asked her.
At her off hand comment he smirked. "mm.. well thanks, you got some lovely eyes too.."He nodded. 'and hair..'He reached out and ran his fingers through some of her hair, detangling a bit of it. He had a thing for hair, it was alot of the first things he noticed and he usually looked past the tangles and dirt. He knew better.

Cowgirl smiled,"Oh I forgot ta mention, da name's Cowgirl, and thanks fer the complements, yer not too bad yerself,"she said. She was definately one to flirt, with many, she tried not to do it too often, but there were so many people who were attractive to her.
She smiled abit as he ran his fingers through her hair.

"I sold a few today, but I ain't exactly lookin' ta sell taday,"she said in reply to his question.

Cowgirl smiled and stood up putting her hat back on her head,"I can handle dat, and ya can call me anytin ya wish, I don't mind one bit,"she said with a slight smirk as she looked around,"oy, hold on, where'd she get too...."she muttered.
She brought her fingers to her lips and whistled and soon enough her Border Collie puppy scuttled around the corner and came to rest at her feet,"c'mon Angel, we ain't got time ta lie around, be nice,"she said noting the dog's unease about Blake. She scooped the puppy into her arms and looked at Blake,"ya allergic ta dogs at all, or have any problems with 'em?"she asked not wanting to inconvenience him.

He grinned. 'Good.."He said, "at least now i wont feel so bad'He said and then watched her stand up and look around. He quirked his brow and looked around. "Whered who get to?"he asked giving her a questioning look. He rubbed the back of his neck and then shrugged.
Though his questioned was answered when she whistled and a puppy came around the corner to plop at her feet. Blake grinned and shook his head. 'Not at all'He said, "I love dogs"he looked at her. "Angel?"he asked making sure that was her name. 'She gonna have problems with me?"he asked as he lifted a hand read to let him sniff it as long as cowgirl gave the okay.

(Like the new look?) Cowgirl nodded,"oh, she's a sweetheart, she jus' gets jumpy from time to time, she should be fine,"she said smiling and patting the puppy's head. "I picked her up at Angel's Gate a few days ago, I feel bad for those animals, i had to rescue one of 'em at least,"she added as she watched Angel sniff Blake's hand and lick it. "See she likes ya, your ok in her book I suppose,"she said smiling at him. She was glad it was a nice day, and even more so that he happened to decide to stop and give her company, she was a people person after all, even though other girls she had iffy problems with but guys were always the ones she had the best times with.
She looked up at the sky before beginning to walk a few steps and stopping looking over her shoulder at him,"ya said Central Park right?"she asked making sure she was heading in the right direction that he wanted to go. She like being outside so the park sounded like a good place to go.
