Randy slowed to a stop at her change of accent. "Well, well, well, your getting tougher bit the minute." he didn't really know what he ment by this, but he had said it, and that was that. He walked more slowly now dragging his feet along. He looked around, of course, everything was closed, what wouldn't be? "So than, where is it exactly that were are off to?" he asked forgetting for a moment that it was he leading her.
His dog sneezed and something black scurried away into a crack, the truth was, Randy couldn't stand rats, but he and been sleeping with them for years now and figured that wasn't about to change, and he certainly wasn't going to let this, miss Sarah see how he really felt about them, so he stuck his nose in the air and carried on.

She silently thanked him. He was slowing down. Thank goodness. He commented about her getting tougher. Sarah simply rolled her eyes and smirked. She followed him as he started to walk again. Sarah shrugged and said. "I dunna. Your the one leading us." Sarah was proud at her accent. It wasn't forced nor practiced. In a way, her other voice was fake. The one she used around her parents. This was the one she had to force.
A rat scurried by. Sarah made a disgusted face, but didn't cry out. She was proud of this, as well. She was getting good at this street thing..
A thought came to her. Swimming. She had always wanted to go swimming. And even more in the middle of the night. It seemed so forbidden and so just spontaneous. Sarah wanted to go swimming in the middle of the night.
"Lets go swimming," she voiced her thoughts. She didn't care how silly he thought she was. She felt free. And that was all that mattered to her. Freedom.

Randy stopped short and crinkled his nose, "Swimming?" he said, "Right now?" it was a strange thing to do, but it did sound fun. "Ok, swimming it is." he looked around, he had lost track of where they were at. Broadway, right. Central park had a few man-made lakes, that could be fun, and the fact that it was illegal made it even better. "You wanna go to the park?" he asked looking around he was somewhat lost, but he knew generally where they were.
He lit another cigar and picked up his pace. "you sure ya don't want one?" offering her a cigar again, this time asking her more seriously. He scratched behind his dog's ear, it's tonge hung out dripping slobber all over Randy's hand, "Uck" he said wiping his hand on his pants.

She nodded and then took of in a run. Laughter started to boil at the pit of her stomach. She couldn't help but laugh. She felt free. Free and wonderful. She made it to the park in no time and started stripping. Fully aware that she was in the company of a young man, Sarah stripped down to her under garments. If only her parents could see her now.
She jumped in without hesitation. Finally, she looked back to see if Randy was still behind her. She smirked as he started to strip and prepared to jump in.
He offered her a cigar, and she turned him down. Maybe later, after they had done swimming. A giggle escaped her lips as his dog slobbered all over him. She hid it quickly with a cough.

He stood at the edge of the lake for a moment to finish smoking. When he was done he slowly pulled off his shirt, then pants, and without waring, he shouted at the top of his lungs and cannonballed into the cold water. "It f-f-freezing.!" he said with a laugh wrapping his arms around himself. "So do you do this on a regular basis?" he asked. He felt fish nibble at his toes. "By the way, name's Randy" he held his hand out to her.
He swam underneath a small wooden bridge just as two people started their was over. Randy put his finger to his lips and motioned for Sarah to come. Just as the couple started over, Randy smacked the bottom of the bridge. The people stopped short. Randy hit it again, this time, moving closer to them. he heard them whisper frantically. With on last blow, he hit the bridge with all his might it shook as if it were going to fall. The people scurried away. Randy put a hand to his mouth to cover a snicker. "Were not really supposta be here, better off if we keep everyone away." he said. "Now then you the one who wanted to go swimming, so come on!" and with that he dove underwater.

"It f-f-freezing!
Sarah laughed and shook her head. Water droplets went flying from her long, brown locks. "Your just a baby..." She laughed once more and swam away from him.
By the way, name's Randy
She gladly took his hand, in a strong shake. At least he didn't spit in it.
Sarah couldn't help but laugh as Randy pestered the on coming couple. The poor people didn't know what they were up against. They left quickly and Sarah let out the laugh she was holding. Surprisingly, when Randy said something about them not supposed to be here, it didn't faze her in the least.
It probably would have, months ago. But now, now she was free. She could do what she pleased, when she pleased. Sarah knew that tomorrow, this world would come crashing down around her, but she didn't care. Right now was her time to live the life she has been waisting.
"Now then you the one who wanted to go swimming, so come on!"
Sarah smiled wickedly and dove after him. Her eyes filled with water as she opened them. They stung at first, but son got adjusted. Murky, was the best word to describe it. She swam through, pushing the water aside with her arms as she went. She caught up to Randy and grabbed onto his ankle, or what she thought it was. She pulled him down and swam over the top of him. Frantically she tried to get away from her pursuer, who now followed close behind.

Randy squinted his eyes and sped up to catch her. Everything was a blur beneath the murky water. Randy came to the surface and took a breath before diving back down. He caught sight of her, she looked like a mermaid swimming around like she was. He grabbed her by the leg and pulled himself infrot of her sprinting so that she would not catch up to him.
A bright light led him to the surface again, when he had risin, he shielded his eyes with his hand as he heard a deep voice. "Hello Randy, start explaining." it said, officer Dan. Randy couldn't afford to be in trouble again. His mind raced frantically as he thought you a lie, "Yeah ,actually officer, I was here with this girl and we were walking across the bridge when she dropped her grandmother's priceless diamond ring into the water, of course I just had to help her find it, so we've been looking here ever since." the office smirked, "and where is this little lady then?" he asked. Randy looked around realizing she hadn't come up yet when he felt a tug a his ankle.

Sarah squealed as Randy pulled her under. She swam up to the surface, but couldn't see him. She took a deep breath and dove under. Opening her eyes, used to the sting now, Sarah found him under the water. He resurfaced. Sarah swam to wards him and pulled on his ankle.
When he didn't fight back, Sarah started to wonder. She resurfaced herself. A blinding white light was all she could see. She quickly shielded her eyes. Slowly, her pupils adjusted to the light. An officer. Oh great. She hadn't heard any of Randy's explanation, and therefore didn't know about her part of the story. "We were just, uh...." Sarah searched her mind for an excuse, but came up with nothing. She glanced at Randy and hoped he was better at this than her.

"Looking for your grandmother's ring." he said to her quickly, "Did you find it?" he asked. He yelped as something pinched his toe, snapping turtle most likely.
Randy cleared his throat and shook his hair like a dog, dog, where was his dog. He looked around, nowhere, he whistled for it, nothing happened, it always had come before. He started to panic, he really did like that dog, even if it did smell and was rather ugly. "Have you seen a big brown dog anywhere?" he asked the officer calmly. The officer thought for a moment and scratched his chin. "Yeah, uhh, some, someone must have called the pound on 'em, I saw them pick him up." The officer said. Randy's heart sunk. He swam to the edge of the pond and started running toward the dog pound, fully aware that he was wearing nothing but his underwere. He tipped over something and rolled down a hill.
Randy closed his eyes, his head ached and his nose was bleeding a bit. Randy felt something wet on his forehead, then on his nose and chin, it startled him. He sat up wiping his face. Randy laughed, for there sat a large brown mutt, head cocked to one side, toung hanging out past his chin. With out thinking he wrapped his arms around the dog neck and sighed. He walked slowly back up the hill, dragging his feet, regaining his "Cool". Looking down, he blushed and figured he better put on some clothes.

Sarah nodded and cleared her throat. "Uh, not yet. We might be able to find it if we look harder..." Sarah glanced up at the officers and prayed he didn't see through her lies.
So much happened in the next few seconds. Randy asked for his dog. The officer said something about it being picked up. Randy took off. Next thing Sarah knew, Randy was spiralling down the hill. She gasped and pulled herself out of the water. Brushing past the police officer, Sarah made her way to Randy. She trudged toward the hill, keeping Randy's body in plain sight.
When she got to him, he was sprawled out on the ground. Grass and mud stuck to his wet body. For the first time that night, Sarah noticed his toned body. Without his shirt, Sarah could see clearly his muscles. Her face flushed and she looked away. He made it up the hill and Sarah looked at his face. He had a bloody nose and some other injuries.
"Are you okay?"

"Uh, yeah, I'm fine." he wiped his nose on his arm and fiddled with his St. Christopher necklace. "Uhhh, I, I uh, have you seen my clothes anywhere?" he asked with a smirk, noticing that she to was wearing close to nothing.
He ran back to the pond just in time to see the police officer walking away shaking his head. Then he got an idea, fishing. He wadded back into the water until he was about waste deep. Randy looked back and Sarah and put a finger to his lips. He bent over and held he breath, wiggling his fingers. Just like he knew it would, he felt a fish swim between his hands, when the timing was just right, he grabbed it beneath the gills scooping it out of the water and holding it above his head. Randy let out a laugh. and ran out of the water still carrying the big fish.

Sarah could feel her face flush. She licked her lips, trying to hide the smile that was forming on her face as well. Looking down, Sarah realized how little she was wearing as well. Immediately, she wrapped her arms around herself and looked back up at Randy. She could feel her face flush even deeper. "No, uh, I haven't seen them..." she mumbled. She shook her head, "Uh, wait, they might be down..." Randy had already taken off back to the pond.
Sarah sighed and took off after him. By the time she caught up to him, he was waist deep in the water. Sarah watch him, with a raised eyebrow and a shiver. She was getting cold. Next thing she knew, Randy had run out of the pond with a fish in his hand. She squealed and took a few steps back. That was gross. She could handle spit shakes and half dressed boys, but this. Ew.
