"Good idea, Greaser. We all know how protective Conlon is over his newsies. To frame Jack of killing one of them would be genius."
Mike grinned smugly. That's right, I came up with that idea. Mike wasn't here to impress Mitch. in fact that was the last thing he was here to do; but he didn't want to seem stupid either. Killing one of Brooklyn's boys was genius, no one could deny that. But how would they pull that off. Both Mitch and Mike would need alibis. They needed someone else to murder the boy. But who? Everyone on Mike's side were being used already. Mitch would have to have one of his boys do it. He voiced his thoughts, "How would we pull that off?"
"Just make Jack suffer, I'm not coming to rescue you from a broken heart with this girl."
Mike scoffed and rolled his eyes. "A broken heart, from Sarah? Yeah right." Even Mike would admit, Sarah was a beautiful girl; but she had the brain capacity of a potato. She was an air head who had no idea what was going on around her. Mike was not going to fall for her. It only made sense that Jack would fall for her. They are two pees in a pod. Mike chuckled at his own thoughts.
"So do you?"
Mike pursed his lips and shrugged. "No, not really." He switch his gaze to Mitch and stared him down. "Do you?"
{Eh, today is not my posting day, lol}

"How would we pull that off?"
Mitch frowned, if he had such a great idea why didn't he think of how to pull it off? Mitch was the one who had to think up all of the details; details were what made the plan work. He crossed his arms and thought for a moment. Mike was going to be suspected first of all, so Mike needed an alibi, and he needed a good one. Mitch might be suspected, he didn't know if the other leaders knew about him and Mike. They probably did, Mike couldn't keep his mouth shut, and news traveled fast in New York.
"I think, you need a story..an alibi. When are you having your little 'date' with Sarah?" Mitch asked, "It would be perfect for you. Sarah's Kelly's girl, right? So if they question you about it, say you were out with Sarah. That'll get Jack fuming, knowing him he wouldn't believe you, and then ask Sarah. Sarah would probably say yes, and then everything would crumble." Mitch smiled at his plan, sometimes he wondered how he could be so brilliant.
"A broken heart, from Sarah? Yeah right."
Mitch shrugged, "You never know, I'm just saying be careful." Knowing Mike he would probably fall head over heals for this girl, and then get his heart broken. Mitch thought relationships were a waste of time, and Mike had so many, they were distracting him from the plan. They didn't need anymore distractions, Mitch didn't have anything to distract him, he was ready for the plan. He didn't think the same could be said for Mike.
"No, not really. Do you?"
Ignoring his last comment, Mitch continued with the plan. "Greaser, do you know anyone who would kill a kid and not feel bad about it?" Mitch knew he wouldn't be able to do that, he seemed heartless, but he couldn't actually commit the crime. "I couldn't put that upon any of my newsies, it would be too risky to ask them." His newsies were loyal, yes, but they also had friends that were Manhattan newsies, or Brooklyn newsies. He just recently learned that one of his 'newsies'; Nellie, was in a relationship with Mush. One of the most loyal Manhattan newsies.
