History: As a little boy he lived with his family in a huge house. One day when his mother, brother and sister and him were all out playing at the park their house caught on fire. All their assets and money were inside, so they went broke over night.
His older brother got a job, and so did his sister and mother, but they made him keep going to school. After a while his mother got very sick, so he had to leave school to come and take care of her. One night his older brother, Alex told Max he was leaving, and wanted to take Max with him. They were barely scraping by, and they'd have a better life with the newsies, and their sister and mother would be able to eat more. Max took his word for it and went with his brother to the Queens Newsies. His brother became leader of queens before to long. But when his brother took on a co-leader he didn't pick Max. Max felt deserted and angry, so he ran away from his brother. He found a job in a factory for a while, but then went back to the newsies. His brother has now left the newsies, but Max has rejoined, but is still a very angry and quiet man.
