Name origin: When she was quite young, Fancy proved to be a very skilled pick-pocket, therefore earning her the nickname Fancy Fingers, which eventually evolved into just Fancy.

History: Fancy was born the eldest of two girls. She raised her baby sister like a mother, because her single mom had to work long hours in the factories, in order to pay for food and housing. When Fancy was thirteen, she decided to take her ten year old sister and look for work in New York, along the way, they were seperated and Fancy has been living as a newsie ever since.

Troubles: Fancy is always troubled by the fact that she let go of her little sister, that one day at the train station. Her biggest concern is that she does not find her sister alive, or at all. Other than that, it is the usual life of the homeless, trying to get food and paying for her shelter.
