Nicks father used to be a hit man for someone, of course that never ended well and he pissed some people off. They got back at his father by blowing up their house. The boys werent in it, unbeknownst to the guys whod blown it up. Instead it was just their mother. The boys ran living on the streets in chicago waiting for their father to return, but when he didnt Nicks brother Joshua, now known as West, went out in search of him leaving Nick to himself.
Nick was sick of waiting and was pissed off for his brother leaving him alone. Nick hopped on a train and ended up here.
