History:
Mordecai was born in Liverpool, England to a large family who were one of the more wealthy in the town. He had four sisters and five brothers, two of whom died soon after their birth when Mordecai was about six years old.
He got a good education at a private school in London, but dropped out to attend regular school when he was about twelve. When he was eighteen he decided to try his luck on his own in, wouldn't you guess it, America. New York to be exact, although once he got off the boat, saw the crowding and the way people treated one another he decided he really hated America. However, his pride and the fact that his father had a bet with his oldest brother concerning how long he would actually last in the country so far from home.
Times were hard for him at first, but he managed to get a job at The World writing articles for very little money, but it helps him get by. At twenty three years old he has a bit of a drinking problem, mostly because he claims it gives him ideas, and he smokes. The drinking, however, isn't bad to the point where he is considered an alcoholic.
Hair Color: Very dark brown
Hair Style: Usually nicely combed, although if he's hung over his hair will look somewhat unkempt. Usually hidden under a hat.

Skin Color: Pale, although if he spends enough time in the sun he'll get a hint of a tan.

Clothing Style: As fancy as he can afford, basically meaning a few nice-looking, threadbare coats and trousers, slightly scuffed shoes, and he's hardly ever seen without his hat.
