Full Name: Drake Andrew Camden
Newsie name: The newsies have taken to calling him "Drake da Snake."
Name origin: Camden lives in luxury, while the newsies remain poor, and he enjoys reminding them of his superiority. He gets pleasure from pushing them around, insulting them, and just making them miserable. He ardently despises all newsies... except for one.

Gender: Male
Birthplace: London, England
Currently Living: New York City, New York
History: Drake Camden was born into a life of high society, and truly reveled in every minute of it. He became well educated, and upon hearing of men like Pulitzer and Hearst making millions, decided to run a London Newspaper of his own. He didn't need the money, he had enough to live well for two lifetimes, but for Camden there was no such thing as enough. He wanted more because money meant power, and vast sums meant unlimited power. Thus, he created "The London Star." It became a huge success in London, but Camden wasn't satisfied. He began to wonder if his sucess was merely because of his father's vast influence, and felt that if he ever wanted to tear away from his father's daunting shadow, he needed to go elsewhere. The bright lights of New York City bagan to lure him, and before he knew it, he was standing on its streets, prepared to conquer. He would create a new paper here, and would own New York City. Pulitzer was old and weak. The dawn of a new prince of power would arise. One day, on the streets, Camden decided to size up his competition, and bought a copy of The New York World, from a Manhattan Newsie. At first he payed the kid no attention, didn't even look at him. Just see them try to strike while I'm in charge! He thought. They would wish they'd kept their ignorant traps shut! The newsie handed him a paper, when suddenly the wind blew his hat off. Long cascading curls tumbled down, and Camden, deeply surprised, found himself looking, not at a rough and tumble lad, but at a fair young maiden. She had to be the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Of all the extravagent and lavish partys and balls in London, he could think of none to be her equal. He suddenly stood up straighter, and sweetly asked her name. "Bella" How appropriate, he thought. The girl's very name meant beautiful and she would be his at all costs.
