Rach walked into the little bookstore, her hair hanging free and fairly clean for once. She'd been able to actually afford a night in the lodging house, which meant she'd snagged the oppurtunity to get a real shower that morning. It hung to her midwaist and was wavy and only a little bit frizzy, despite the summer humidity. She nodded at the lady behind the counter, a women who knew her well since she frequented the bookstore. Her love of books was apparent to everyone, and that was where all her money that didn't go to food went.
She wandered the shelves aimlessly, humming to herself. Her hands were in her pockets, and there was a little spring in her step. She didn't love anything more than the bookstore. She just walked through the shelves, waiting for something interesting to catch her eye.

G.D. was sitting back between a couple of shelves. She had a note book and pencil in her hands. A harmonica sat next to her and she hummed to herself. She wrote a few words down and then would hum a few notes.
G.D. loved music. She liked to make her own, but usually in privacy. This was the most private place that she knew of at the time, and the library was pretty quiet. Typically people didn't mind. She picked up the harmonica and played a few quiet notes so that she could figure out what notes she had been humming before she sat the harmonica down again and added onto the song that was starting to grow in her notebook.
