Personality:Murdoch is the son of two very unique, social parents and, along with the majority of his siblings, has fully embraced their outgoing ways. On his father's suggestion, he purpousely has his hair cut so that a part of it is longer than the rest in order to create a conversation piece so that he can have something to talk about with people he doesn't know. He is allowed to roam around after school as much as he wants as long as he's home for dinner and can usually be found doing so, often with at least one of his siblings. He is extreemely outgoing and will talk to just about anybody he sees. He tends to take a positive view on things, though he can't seem to extend that attitude to school or girls his age (he's fine with older one's because they're grownups and younger ones because they're babies).
History: Murdoch's parents emigrated from Germany when his mother was pregnant with Bascom. They decided early on that they didn't want to just choose German names for their children because they felt that it wouldn't foster the amount of acceptance and open-mindedness that they wanted their children to have. so, they chose very unique and varied names (ie: murdoch) from many different countries. His father is a carpenter and his mother works in a factory near where they live. Since they are a fairly large family, Murdoch's brother, Bascom, has had to take on a part time job at a store to help support the family. All of the children in the family, including Bascom, go to school every day whether they like it or not so that they will have a wider range of options when they are older but few of the kids are in favor of that rule.
