History: Thad's mother died when he was only one year old. His father ditched him with his uncle when he was four. Thad and his uncle often fought and the fights often got violent. Thad always knew that there was more out there in the world and one day after he and his uncle got in an intense argument about Thad's respect he left. There was no doubt in his mind he could make it on his own.
When he arrived in the city he found that he was going to be harder than he thought. For a good week Thad just sat back and watched the people of New York and what they did. One group he watched in particular were the Newsies. Finally one day he went and bought his own papes to sell. The only problem is that Thad isn't the best seller on the streets. He often finds himself running low on cash and does result to stealing at times.
Being that he was raised in the mountains he is one tough son-of-a-gun. He doesn't let people fool him. Thad keeps to himself for the most part. Everyone he ever knew turned their back on him. He doesn't like to trust anyone except for himself. At first he comes across as being mean, but once people get to know him they will see that he has a soft side and really just wants someone to care.
