Breaking the rules will result in either a warning, a ban, or character deletion depending on how severe it is. Please read them carefully.
1. No "claiming" a character as your brother, sister, boyfriend, etc. If you want characters to have a history, go to the "CHARACTER HISTORY" thread and read more.
2. You must Post in the "PLACEMENT" thread requesting whether you would like to be a Bronx Newsie, Brooklyn Newsie, Street Sweeper, Factory Worker, ect.. Feel free to come up with your own titles! Be creative!
3. Please, just because profanity, violence, and language is permitted - it doesnt mean that you can abuse it!! Dont post smut or excessive language just because you can!!
4. Do not go after another member. Any nasty PMs can and will be sent to Admin and the sender will be warned, Banned, or Deleted depending on severity. If you have a problem, PM admin and admin will fix the problem.
5. When playing a canon character, be as true to them as you can, please. If you don't think you can do so, then kindly don't sign up for the role
Also, do not constantly ask someone to play a character for you. You may sign up three times for a canon - but then that is it. After 3 strikes - YOUR OUT! (No canon I mean - not your getting kicked off the board. )
6. YOU MUST try to post more than two PARAGRAPHS! Think about it, someone disobeys the rule and replies to your 8 paragraph post with 5 stinkin' words. Its VERY annoying. These one sentence posts will be deleted. Unless you are posting OOC.

7. You may play any canon character that isn't on the "taken" list at any time. for example, Starsage could play Skittery and Bumlets in her posts if they are not being played by someone.
8. Please go to your profile and make sure you specify the gender of your character, not of yourself. It makes things easier for everyone else! Also in your profile, please type the name of your character clearly and correctly as your display name.

I know we don't know for sure, but things like "Like, OMG did you see that?!" or "this is like so totally awesome." will be edited or deleted. 10. Please post in BLACK font. It's just easier to read and looks cleaner. Crazy colors also make it hard to understand the context.
11. Try to be as true to the canon characters as possible and also to your characters!! If you say your character is a grouch in your profile, then you most likely wont find your character skipping along a street singing Christmas carols in the summer!
12. ONCE AGAIN - Come to ME with problems, Suggestions, Accusations, whatever! Please don't try to duel out your problems with other members, and dont blame how the site runs on someone other than me - just let me know everything, and a truce will be arranged.
13. Most importantly, HAVE FUN! We are very nice here (unless you get on our bad side) and are like a family! You will never feel "left out" on this board - everyone is treated equally. It doesn't matter how old you are, or your posting experience, or even how long you have been with us - everyone is equally loved, and equally treated!
