Les was by the statue and playing with his wooden sword like he usually does. His stick pretending to be a pirate stabbing his imaginary enemies his papers where on the statue waiting for him to sell but he was having fun he didn't want to grow up yet.
Soon this stranger comes up to him and asks him for a paper, "Sure," said Les and handed it to him and took the penny. He then went back to playing but he stopped and decided he needed to sell his papers. He took them off the statue and went around Manhattan yelling out fake headlines.
He spots Jack and runs over to him, and starts selling with him. He walked up to an old man and starts coughing "Buy me last pape mistah?" asked Les acting like he was dying. The man fell for it and bought the paper "Nice goin Les," said Jack "Your a natural!" he exclaimed and patted Les on the back. It started to get dark and Jack walked Les home and his mother tucked him into bed like always and soon he went to bed.
