History: Bella's father, Albert, was a traveling artist when he was younger. He traveled to Italy and met her mother, Lucia. They fell in love, and got married. Albert brought Lucia back to New York so she could meet his family. His brother, Edward, became insanely jealous of Albert. Being identical twins, it was only natural for Edward to feel that way. He hated Albert, because their family loved and praised Albert more than Edward. Edward loved Lucia for her beauty, and hated his brother for taking her away from him. Albert and Lucia moved back to Italy for his artwork. One and a half years later they had Isabella.
They stayed in Italy until Bella was seven, when a fire burned down their house. They decided to move back to New York. Once they were back there, Edward wanted to move in with them, so he could be with Lucia more. Oblivious to his love for her, they agreed. Edward hated Bella, because he knew she was their child. He tried to control himself around her, but when she was fourteen he began to hit her for small things. Hits turned into beatings, and her parents remained oblivious. Bella had a strong sense of resentment for her parents because they didn't notice the torture she was going through. She still loved her parents, but resented them for letting Edward live with them. The only reason they let him stay, was because of the income he brought. Edward was a very wealthy man, and he bought things for Lucia mainly, and then Albert so no one would suspect Edward. Now at seventeen, Bella's uncle continues to abuse her. He forced her to get a job, wanting her to become a prostitute. She refused, and went to the next thing, performing at pubs. Her true love is art, but only performs for the money to give to her uncle. She's terrified of him, but hates him. She has a heart, but its been frozen from her hatred towards Edward. She lashes out at people because she has to be quiet and mousy at home. She has to obey Edward's rules and not be herself.
