((Because the person playing David isn't active, and for the upcoming plot we need a David.))
Not many things annoyed David Jacobs, but one thing he didn't like was ruckus. David preferred the simple, quiet life. Why he was living in New York City, he would never know.
He loved his friends and he loved his brother but sometimes they were just too loud. It usually started with someone talking, then someone would try to talk over someone, and then it turned into mass chaos. The mass chaos usually included a fight with something, blood, food or whatever. David was usually the one who had to clean up after the boys, and apologize for their behavior. Oh well, boys will be boys.
One of the things he enjoyed was selling, he loved the feeling of how he could earn money and bring it home to help his family. It made him feel like he was doing something right, and it made him feel needed. He loved that feeling more than anything. The smile on his father's face when he would bring home two bits, or a dollar, or anything was priceless. He could deal with the heat, the sweat, the stench, and the idiots as long as he got the reward of making his parents proud.
Speaking of selling, today was actually going pretty good. David hadn't been pranked - yet. He was normally the target of all pranks; who knows why. He then heard a unfamiliar voice call his name, and he glanced up. A bucket full of water was what met him. He wiped his eyes, and coughed and sputtered. He looked around, and saw four boys run by. David huffed and rolled his eyes. It was just Racetrack, Blink, Mush and Chance. Or "The Four Musketeers" as they called themselves. He picked up his now soggy papers, and sighed.
Not many things annoyed David Jacobs, but one thing he didn't like was when someone ruined his papers.
