Full Name: August Davis
Newsie name: None, he doesn't want one.
Name origin: His name
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Birthplace: Paris, France
Currently Living: Midtown, New York
History: Paul Davis and his family moved to Paris, France when he was sixteen years old. His father died, and his mother wanted to return to her roots. His father was American, and his mother was French. Paul loved the French atmosphere, and cherished every moment there. When he turned eighteen he met Céline Fournier, and you could say it was like love at first sight. The two were married one year later.
The Davis' became a large family, with six children in all. First was Jean, then Rebecca, then Gerard, then Alain, then Bernadette, then August. Each one of the children's names had a meaning to it, Jean was Céline's grandfather's name. Rebecca was Paul's grandmother's name. Gerard was Céline's father's name, Alain was Céline's brother's name, Bernadette was her mother's name, and August's name had the most special story behind them all. He was named after the month he was born, because Paul's mother died the night after August was born. She was there when he was born, and she got to see him once before she died. One of her requests to Paul was that the baby would be named after her in some way. Both Paul and Céline decided to name him after the month he was born which was in August.
Growing up for August wasn't easy, seeing that he was the youngest. It made it harder on him that all of his brothers were tough, and older, and he wasn't. That helped him grow the thick skin he had today, and that's what made him the fighter he was today. When August was fifteen the Davis' had to move from France, to this day he still doesn't know the reason why.
When August was seventeen he met someone named 'Mike D. Greaser' the two became friends, until Mike left New York to go back to England. All August knew was that Mike's parents died, and he said something about newsies. August couldn't imagine life without his parents, or siblings, and he grew angry at these 'newsies'. Two years later, when Mike came back, August learned of his return, and tracked him down. He found Mike in Midtown, where Mike asked August to become a Midtown newsie, and fight against the ones who had wronged him. August agreed, and is considered one of Mike's best fighters.
