In 1881, Edgar and Stella had a beautiful baby girl, Roxanne Elizabeth Tyler. A year later came, Norbert Leo Tyler, and the next year Minnie Lee Tyler was born. The three children grew up with everything they ever could imagine themselves wanting. Roxie, Norbert, and Minnie had the best governesses, the best tutors, the best schooling, anything that was the best the Tyler children had. Each one of the children grew up differently, and each had a different view on their life in society.
Roxanne loved being in the public's eye. She loved the attention she would get if she saw one of Manhattan's finest bachelors. She learned quickly that she could get anything she wanted if she dated the right people, had the right friends, and wore the right clothes. She knew how to use the smoldering, seductive look that she had just right, she knew how to use people. She knew how to betray people. Roxie craved attention, and craved being in the spotlight.
Two years ago, Roxie found out that her boyfriend was cheating on her. She had her ways to find out who it was, and she found who the girl was. Some peasant, a prostitute. She was appalled by the fact that she was losing to a girl who's social status didn't even begin to register on the food chain. Jealousy took over her, and one night in August she found the pistol that her father had in his dresser drawers. Roxie made her way over to where the lady worked, and killed her. No one knew that it was her. When she came home her sister, Minnie, found out that it was Roxie. In order to save her reputation, Roxie made Minnie swear that she wouldn't tell anyone. To this day, no one knows about the murder.
Now, Roxie is eighteen and is considered an "adult" in her parent's eyes. She enjoys the life of being one of the elite. Roxanne takes great pride in her look, and her social status.
