Sooo I just realized that Jordan doesn't have a profile. Weirdness. Anyways, I thought you guys might want a little insight on the Leader of Queens' life. =] He's not all bananas and cupcakes.

It all started with a banana. Micheal Brody was eating a golden banana one fine summer afternoon under a shady tree in Long Island park. He was about 18 years old, and had not a care in the world, as he tossed the peel to the side. He had big plans for the future, and nothing would stop him from fulfilling them. Not even...Melody. The beautiful brunette seemed to float past him, that is, until she tripped on the peel he had thrown and knocked into him, sending them both to the ground. They fell in love shortly after exchanging apologies, and it blossomed from there.
Not yet three months had passed by when Melody found out she was expecting a baby. This didn't fit into Micheal's plans, and he left without a word - breaking her heart. She went on to have the baby, but didn't want it because it reminded her of her lost love. So, she left the baby with her adopted mother, Mary, and moved west.
Mary was old, in her 60's, but took care of the baby whom she named Jordan Micheal. When he was 7 however, she died, and he was left alone. He set out wandering the streets until he found a little playmate. Her name was Mae. She was a year older than him, and she had a job selling papers on the street. He began to sell with her, and they lived in the lodging house of Queens together. They grew up together, and soon fell in love. Yes, Jordan Brody fell in love with a pretty little red headed newsie named Mae.
Jordan was sixteen, and Mae seventeen, when the unthinkable happened. Mae got pregnant. Yes, you read right - she got pregnant from JORDAN BRODY. At first they were happy, but then started getting worried when Mae started getting violently ill during the pregnancy. She was confined to a hospital bed in Brooklyn for the first eight months of her pregnancy. Jordan would visit her everyday, and every day she would get weaker. One day, she simply disappeared. Jordan went to visit her, and she was gone.
They told him that she had passed away in the night, but that was all they would say. They never told him about the newborn baby that had been born at 11:28 that night at 3 lbs 2oz. They didn't tell him that they had sent the child to the nearest orphanage. They simply told him that the mother had died. She had died, but she had given birth to Jordan's child first. Jordan had a baby girl, but didn't even know it.
For over a year, he concentrated solely on his job as a newsie - never even looking at another woman, thus elevating his position to the leader of the Queens Newsies. They knew his girlfriend had died - but they didn't know why - and they respected him for the way he had handled it, and for the fact that he had had to go through it. So now, he is leader, only having loved once in his lifetime. Can he love again? He doesn't think so.
