I've never been so bored//open

kitty had been everywhere else in new york except for manhattan she'd toured the whole city. she was so bored there was nothing going on, nothing to do, no gossip or drama to talk about even! even though she was a fan of gossip

so now she was in manhattan and bored out of her little blonde head. she sat down on the curb outside of distribution and stared up at the sky as she hummed to herself she wished something interesting would happen like the sky falling that would be interesting!!! after a while she got up and started to walk backwards down the street, still humming to herself. she wasn't paying attention to where she was going and ran straight into someone. "Oh my gosh!" she said "I'm so sorry are you ok?"

KidBlink stumbled slightly and shook his head collecting himself as he absently grabbed hold of the girl by the shoulders gently,"uh it's not a problem...."he said as he realized he had grabbed onto her out of a attempt to stay balanced. He let go and looked at the girl,"why are ya walkin' backwards anyway?"he asked as he took off his newsie cap and ran a hand through his unmanagable blond hair before replacing the hat on his head. He looked up at the sky wondering what could've been so interesting to look at before he looked back at her. He didn't recognize her, which either meant she was new around here, or belonged in another borough. He waited for a response as he lit a cigarette and took a small puff.

His blue eyes sparkled slightly before he shifted out of the way of the passerbys and he walked infront of her to get a good look at the girl who had bumped into him by accident. He didn't know what to think just yet, he'd have to wait and see how she responded to him first before he knew how to sum her up properly.
