Cowgirl looked up from her own paper that she held in her hands as she sat near the window at a table in Tibby's,"Thanks,"she said softly as the waiter gave her a glass of water and a plate of toast. She looked out the window at passersby in curiousity wondering where they were goig, where were they coming from, who they were, what they were doing? She liked questioning life, and purpose at times, mainly when she was alone. She took a bite of her toast as she looked back down at the paper in distatste at the headlines. Her hair fell into her pale face as she sighed.
She pushed a lock of her blond waves of hair behind her ear as she put the paper down and picked up her poetry book she had bought the other day and opened it to the middle of the book. Her blue eyes scanned the page in deep thought, trying to bring the poem to meaning in her head.
