Her blue eyes watched the ground as she walked through Central park, the smell of flowers mixed with hotdogs from vendors filled he air. Her blond waves of hair fell in her face curtaining it as she shoved her hands in her back pockets. Cowgirl had lost her dog, and probably would't find it unless it came back to the lodging house, she'd lost her a few days ago. She concentrated on a small rock as she kicked it along while walking and finally she looked up at the sky, the clouds were few today. She kept her head tilted back in slight awe and wonderment as she walked, hoping she wouldn't bump into a kid.
She hadn't gotten very far and she bumped into someone but it definately was't a child....(sorry it sucks)

Ian was walking through Central Park, he was bored again. And it was a nice day, he didn't want to be kept up in his apartment all day anyways. He rubbed the side of his face that was still sore from an unfortunate accident with Starsage. A slight bruise was there, but he had his 'sob story' all planned out.
Someone bumped into him, he looked down and saw a young girl. He didn't know how old she was, but he guessed her to be old enough for a flirting session. That's just how he was, he was a flirt and a lady's man. He smirked, "Well excuse me, miss." He said.

Cowgirl turned around and bit her lip aologetically as she met the eyes of the victim she had bumped into,"I'm sorry, I just got lost in thought...."she said as she steadied her feet and looked him over smiling abit but still bitig her lip abit out of nervous habit. She stepped back abit and looked sideways falling silent, he looked about her age, he had gorgeous eyes, she shook her head absently trying to shake away her thoughts of flirting or anything.
She wasn't one to start anything but if they started she'd roll with the punches and go right on with it. She knew the game well, she'd done her share of flirting, it wasn't that hard to do, especially when you knew how to get around words right, and she definately knew how to get around words.

"I'm sorry, I just got lost in thought...."
Ian smirked, "No, its okay. I should've been watching where I was going." He paused, studying her. She seemed alright, that's how most girls looked at first to him, just alright. She had blonde hair, and blue eyes. He cocked his head to the side, "If you don't mind my asking, what are you thinking about?" He asked, giving her his signature smirk.
He paused and rubbed the side of his face again, Starsage really got him good. He didn't want to make it too obvious, but anything that made good flirting, he would do.

"....What are you thinking about?"
That was a cofusing question to answer so she was silent still before she noticed him rub the side of his face and she saw the mark,"oh jeese are you ok?"she asked, she always tended to go for the soft side of things unless she knew you alot better and knew whether you deserved it or not. Without even wondering if he'd think it was awkward she had put a hand over the mark,"god looks bloody painful..."she murmured, her English accent coming out slightly.
She knew she'd still have to answer his questio but why not buy some time.

"oh jeese are you ok? god looks bloody painful..."
Ian's hand came up to his face, "Oh yeah, I'm fine." He said with a half-laugh. "Some kid tried to mug me in an alleyway. That's just some of the dangers of being rich. Stupid brat just wanted my money." He shrugged, "Its no big deal." He was lying, but he didn't want a girl, and especially one that he was trying to impress, know he was hit by another girl.
He heard an accent in her dialect, "You have an accent," He paused, "Where from?" He asked, with his smirk creeping back onto his face. As he put his hands into his pockets.

She moved her hand back away from his face when he asked about her accent and put his hands in his pockets,"uh England...."she said as she looked at him and nodded slightly,"long story, not so proud of my past..."she said as she fidgetted abit with a strand of her hair and twirled it around her finger. "I've been here for about 7 years, since I was 10,"she said simply. She didn't know what to say next or what to do. She looked at him and tilted her head slightly,"Oh when I bumped into you..."she murmured.
"I was uh thinking about everything really, people, places, emotions, feelings, mainly sadness, and wanting to feel happiness, it's complex realleh....I think differently than othas sometimes..."she said in slight embarassment.

"uh England....long story, not so proud of my past..."
Ian nodded, "I've been to England once, when I was younger. My parents took us to Europe for a little bit, for schooling and everything." He smiled slightly, "Nice place there."
"I was uh thinking about everything really, people, places, emotions, feelings, mainly sadness, and wanting to feel happiness, it's complex realleh....I think differently than othas sometimes..."
He looked her over, not really understanding how so many emotions could be in one person. "What are you sad about?" He asked, "That is if you'd want to talk about it. Either way, I'll listen." He smirked flirtatiously.

She couldn't help but give her own small flirtatious smile at his smirk and she no loger really cared so much about keeping the distance of feet between them, she took a step forward and put her hands in her own pockets.
"Well, there are many reasons to be sad.....the simplest one, my dog ran away a few days ago, the most difficult one, I feel alone...."the last part she hadn't meant to say, she shouldn't have said, but it was true, her sadness was based off of her loneliness.
She shifted uncomfortably when she realized what she had said,"I.....uh....welll...."she stammered,"that wasn' vereh proper ta say.."she muttered.

"Well, there are many reasons to be sad.....the simplest one, my dog ran away a few days ago, the most difficult one, I feel alone...."
Ian frowned, "Well I'm sorry your dog ran away. Um, what's his name?" He asked, not really knowing what to say. But her last reason really hit him, somebody else that had the same loneliness as him? It couldn't be, he had nobody to talk to, nobody to be with, nobody was there for him. That's one of the reasons why he was so flirtatious, because he needed to feel in control and he didn't want to have the feeling of being alone all the time.
"I.....uh....welll...."she stammered,"that wasn' vereh proper ta say.."
He shook his head, "No, its okay. I don't really care about what's proper and what's not." He replied with a shrug.

She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as she bit her lower lip again, he didn't seem to bad, in fact he seemed pretty nice, she realized she didn't know his name and he hers. She ran a hand through her hair as she spoke.
"I'm uh Krissi, but everyone calls me Cowgirl, you can call me either one,"she said as she looked down slightly.
"My dog's name was Angel, she's a border collie...."she added after a moment,"She's probabl better off, I don't blame her fer leaving meh..."she muttered. She looked back up at him realizing she was continuing to almost get close to pitying herself and she normally wasn't the one to do that.

"I'm uh Krissi, but everyone calls me Cowgirl, you can call me either one,"
Ian nodded, "I'm Ian. I don't have a nickname, being wealthy you can't have a nickname because your name is what you're worth. That's how you get your money is by your name." He shrugged, "Its a complicated thing, but I don't mind it. I don't really like any of my nicknames either."
"She's probabl better off, I don't blame her fer leaving meh..."
He shook his head, "No, I don't think that's the case. Maybe she just ran off, and is now lost. That's what happens to little kids all the time, they'll see something that they have interest in and follow that, and they get lost." He paused for a moment, running his fingers through his hair. "Do you understand?"

She laughed slightly at his questioning of whether she understood,"of course I understand...what do you take meh for? A child?"she teased as she looked up toward the sky for a moment and then ran a hand through her hair as well in thought before looking back at him. She smiled slightly and looked around at the not so crowded park, it wasn't one of the nicest days, the sun was hidden behind some white clouds but the sky was close to greying. She thought of taking out a cigarette and having a smoke but decided against it for now.
"Uh where were ya headed if ya don't mind me asking?"she asked as she met his eyes once more and almost got lost in them before she blinked and looked sideways trying not to get too caught up in focusing on his looks,Ian, that was a nice name,"so exactly how high in society are you?"she asked trying to start a stream of another conversation.

"of course I understand...what do you take meh for? A child?"
Ian shook his head, "No, I didn't mean it like that." He paused and then realized that she was kidding. He glanced over and smiled a sheepish smile.
"Uh where were ya headed if ya don't mind me asking?"
He shrugged, "Nowhere in particular, I'm just roaming around. I live in the Bronx, but its not that fun to sit in an apartment all day and watch everyone walk by. So usually I go for a walk and see where I end up. Where are you heading?" He asked as he folded his arms across his chest.
"so exactly how high in society are you?"
He smirked, "Pretty high, I'm expected to go to the mayor's parties with my parents and do things like that." He didn't know what to say, his father never explained this to him, he just knew that his family was rich and that was all.

Cowgirl thought for a moment, where was she going? Uh good question, when she didn't even remember where she had been going. She was silent for a moment letting the thought sink in, if she wasn't going anywhere particular then where could she go.
"Uh, I really don't remember where I was headed to be quite honest, I guess I'm just roamin' around too..."she said simply as she pulled her hands from her pockets and began fidgetting with them abit. He said he was pretty high in society, which made her just slightly nervous.
"Sounds like fun, bet ya get around alot, I wouldn't know all that much, I'm lucky ta have a place ta stay, I don't have family anymore really....."she said, she always said things she didn't mean to say, they just came out of her mouth, as if she should tell the world her stories, like they really wanted to hear. Nobody wanted to hear about a girl, pity who lost her parents in a fire when she was ten..
