((Ask first lovies. :] ))
Just a few more turns and she would have it...
CRACK!
Allie nearly fell over from the force of the snap. Her muddy brown hair flipped into her face as she thrust her hand down to the ground to catch herself. Once she was back into her crouching position, she glanced around to make sure nobody had heard or seen her. Allie pushed her long (and pretty tangled) hair out of her face, and got back to work. Or at least, she tried. The rod had snapped in half - and was now stuck in the keyhole. This was not good.
She would get into Irving Hall eventually... Just maybe not as quickly as she had thought. It was still pretty early in the evening, and Medda's last show of the night was about to begin. Her goal was to get in through the back (and locked) door of Irving Hall, find the cash box, and leave while they were all distracted with the show. She knew it was wrong to take the money, but she needed it more than them!
Allie tried to stick her fingers in the hole and pull the piece of rod out - but couldn't. Instead of pulling the rod out, she nearly had her finger ripped off! Her finger had still been in the keyhole when the door had flung open inwardly, and she had been jerked inside the building, and head on into whoever had opened the door.
She had been caught, but that was the least of her problems. Her finger was still stuck in the keyhole. It was pretty dark, so she couldn't really make out who she had barreled into, but one thing was for sure - Her finger was broken. The pain caught up to her, and she let out a small groan. Great. Just great.
