Jinks was walking threw Woodlawn Cemetery she came here about once every month if not more if she needed to talk to someone that was suppose to be close to her. She had flowers with her to decorate the place up or at least make it seem nice, which was highly not possible. She walked over the dead people that was buried under her feet, she was always creped out when it came to walking threw here but that didn't stop her.
She sighed and finally made it to where she wanted to. "Hi mom," said Jinks and sat down at the head stone, then smiled at it. She took her hand and whipped away some of the dirt that was on it.
"Why did ya go?" she asked the headstone, "Francis and I need ya," she said tracing the 'Loving wife and mother' that was carved into the stone; she was loving as far as Jinks knew. "If ya didn't go then maybe I wouldn’t be like this. Maybe Francis and I wouldn't fight all the time and maybe he wouldn't hate me." she said, "I've been messing up so much," she told her mother. Some of the newsies might think she's completely nuts for talking to her dead mother but what was a girl to do? She needed a mother no she wanted a mother, she still wants one.
Although if she ever did get one what would she do just stop being a newsie? She loved being a newsie it made her happy, she loved the trouble it got her into. She loved getting into trouble she doesn't know why but she did, just not so much trouble like killing someone just enough to start running from who ever she made angry.
It started to rain but Jinks didn't move she didn't want to leave yet. She wanted to stay with her mom, she didn't know why, but this makes her feel safe. She just let the rain fall on her to wash away all the dirt she had on her. "Why did ya leave?" she asked and started to cry.
When she says to me, she will always be there
To watch and protect me I don't have to be scared
Oh, and when she says to me I will always love you
I won't need to worry 'cause I know that it's true
She sighed and finally made it to where she wanted to. "Hi mom," said Jinks and sat down at the head stone, then smiled at it. She took her hand and whipped away some of the dirt that was on it.
