Jinks was wanting to get away from Manhattan all week. She's been bored there and Jack had been watching her ever since the pub accident in Brooklyn. She whipped the sweat off her forehead; it was a really hot day, the hottest day of her life. She wanted to take a dip but she knew that would end up badly.
Just another thing she needed, more trouble. So she stayed out of the water and just stuck her feet in; anything to keep her out of trouble. She had a paper left, she decided to actually see what was in it. She didn't even look at the headlines she just yelled out random things to get rid of them.
She moved her legs back and forth she didn't now what she was going to do today all she knew was that she was staying out of trouble, for once. She thought she heard a noise from behind her; so she turned to see who it was.
