Mimi led them to the river, making sure Roger was walking behind her. She didn't want him to ditch her, even though she thought that would be very unlike him, but nowadays you never knew. She sat down and took off her shoes and socks, feeling very glad to rid her feet from the shoes. Mimi never did like them, she loved the feeling of having her feet free. But she didn't like to walk on the streets with no shoes, she didn't like to get her feet dirty. Anything except her hands and feet, she didn't mind getting messy.
She glanced back at Roger, and then ran and jumped into the river, making a large splash. She was swimming in her clothes, but didn't mind at all. She wanted to be somewhat cooler when she walked back to the Lodging House. That, and she didn't really want to undress in front of Roger. She turned around and saw him standing there, just staring at her. "Roger, the water won't kill you. Get in!" She smiled at him.

"Roger, the water won't kill you. Get in!"
He shook his head, realizing he had been staring. "Wow, she is beautiful.." He couldn't help but think these things as her hair shone in the sun. He chuckled and shook his head. "I'm coming!" He laughed and sat down and started to take of his shoes. He got them off and realized his dilemma. He only had one shirt and he would rather it stay clean as long as possible. Besides it was his work shirt, and if it was wet he would get an ear full tomorrow. He cleared his throat awkwardly and looked at her. She had not taken off her clothes and maybe she was uncomfortable about it.
He cleared his throat and took off his shirt. He figured he wouldn't mind and just did it. Smiling brightly, trying to rid himself of the awkwardness, he jumped in next to her and splashed her.

"I'm coming!"
Mimi smiled and swam on her back. She didn't know how much she missed the feeling of being weightless in the water. It felt like nothing could hold her down, and she loved that feeling.
When Roger took off his shirt, her eyes went wide. She stared at him and blinked, she almost expected him to take off his shirt at least. But she didn't know that he was so well built. He splashed her, she laughed and splashed him back. "That's not nice now is it?!" She exclaimed before laughing even harder and jumping on his back to dunk him into the water.

"That's not nice now is it?!"
Roger laughed as she lunged at him. They both went under and he turned around in the water so he was facing her. He then lunged at her and pushed her under. This water war went on for a while, until they both were out of breath. He crawled unto the bank and panted for breath. He shook his head and water went everyone. He wasn't done swimming, just taking a break. He plopped on his back and breathed deeply. "Dang girl! You wear me out!" He said between breaths.
((BRAIN DEAD! AHH))

"Dang girl! You wear me out!"
Mimi laughed, "Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?" She asked, panting for breath. She looked out at the river, the sun was setting and it looked breathtaking. She glanced over at Roger, his blond hair was all over the place and had water droplets on it. She smiled, that was another sight which was breathtaking.
She began to wring out the excess water from her hair, watching the puddles form around her. A small breeze blew by, and from her being wet it made her shiver slightly.
((Eh, mine isn't too good either. Don't feel bad.))

"Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?"
Roger shrugged and pushed himself up so he was leaning on his elbows. "Maybe, maybe not..." He glanced at her and wiggled his eyebrows. He then chuckled and shook his head. He looked back to the lake and smiled as he heard Mimi's intake of breath. He had to agree with her, it was beautiful. Maybe he had done something right. He glanced over at her and when she looked at him he looked away.
He noticed her shivering and grabbed for his shirt. He handed it to her and smiled. "Ya need it more than me.." He trailed off. He tried so hard not to glance down at her now soaking body. Her clothes clung to her and he could see almost every curve of her body. Not wanting to make things weird, he turned his head.

"Maybe, maybe not..."
Mimi smiled, he had a great sense of humor, and she really liked that about him. She couldn't help but laugh along with him, it was contagious. She couldn't help herself.
"Ya need it more than me.."
She glanced at his shirt, "Are you sure?" Mimi has never been one to accept charity, but with Roger it wasn't like that. "You're probably cold too." She reached out for it shyly and wrapped it around her. She glanced over at him, "We could share y'know." She smiled, scooting closer to him.

"Are you sure? You're probably cold too. We could share y'know."
Roger raised his eyebrows at her. Mimi suprised him by making a move. He wanted to make a move, but wanted to wait for her. Since she had made the move, he took that as an opening. He scooted closer to her and wrapped an arm around her. He pulled her close and leaned his head so his chin was touching the top of her head.
He glanced up at the sky. It was getting late and the sun was setting. Roger silently thanked God for making such a beautiful place. He knew this was the perfect place for romance, and he was glad he came.

Mimi could tell Roger was probably surprised by her actions, but she didn't care. She didn't want him to be cold...and she didn't want this opportunity to be wasted. She leaned closer into him and sighed slightly. For some reason she felt completely safe in his arms. Despite meeting him just a few hours ago, she trusted him, and felt intense feelings for him. She's never felt this way before, was it love? It couldn't be, they just met. She didn't believe in love at first sight, but then again this wasn't the first sight. This was a while after the first sight. She dismissed the thoughts from her mind and decided to enjoy being here with Roger, alone.
"Its really nice here." She said after a long silence. "See, aren't you glad I dragged you here?!" She said half enthusiastic and half with her dry humor.

Roger mumbled absent mindfully, "Mmmhh.." He was smelling her scent and just enjoying the feeling of her in his arms. It felt so right and he was so glad to be here. They stayed this way for awhile, every now and then talking. Roger felt Mimi's heart beat slow down and realized she had fallen asleep. He himself was very tired. He gently kissed the top of her head and mumbled quietly, "Goodnight, love.." He smiled and shifted so he was comfortable and soon fell asleep himself.

((So I'm just going to post as it being the morning now, since...there's not much I can do.))
Mimi looked up, the sun was shining, and she saw the river. Wait a minute, that's not right. She's supposed to be in her bed, and Starsage is supposed to be hitting her telling her to wake up. But neither one was there, she glanced around and saw that she was laying next to Roger. Wait, Roger wasn't supposed to be there either. The last thing she remembered was sharing his shirt. She glanced up at the sun, squinting. It had to of been at least nine. She sighed, "Guess I'm not selling today." She muttered.
She shook Roger, "Roger, wake up now." She stared at him, he wasn't stirring. She shook him harder, "Roger, we fell asleep by the river. Wake up now." She said firmly.

Roger groaned as he felt someone shaking him. His eyes squinted open and rubbed them to clear them. What he saw when they cleared was what every guy wanted to wake up to. Mimi was leaning over him, slightly damp from last nights swim. Her hair was everywhere from drying without being brushed. He grinned and sat up so he was inches from her face.
"Morning, beautiful..." He gently raised his hand and pushed away the hair in her face. Closing the distance between them, he leaned in and kissed her. It was quick, but sweet. It was everything he had imagined it to be. He pulled back quickly, surprised at the shock he felt when the touched. Blushing, he looked down. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that..." It was only their first date, and he shouldn't have rushed things.

"Morning, beautiful..."
Mimi felt so many things run through her body when he kissed her. Numbness at first, and then enjoyment, happiness, confusion, embarrassment. So many things at once, she felt confused as she stared at him wide-eyed. She didn't mind him kissing her, anything but that. It was just...weird, not awkward but tender and loving in a weird, but good way.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that..."
She shook her head, leaning closer to him. "No," She almost whispered, "Its okay." She smiled at him. "Forget regret." She shrugged, looking into his hazel eyes.

"Forget regret."
He raised her eyebrows at her as she leaned closer. He wasn't the one making the move here, but he would run with it. He leaned closer, his eyes never leaving hers. His lips made contact with hers once again, but deeper this time. He brought his hand to her head and placed it on her neck. He gently pulled her closer to him. It was a sweet, simple kiss. He was not one for going very far when you just met. In fact he wasn't into going any farther then kissing.
He pulled away, not wanting to tempt either of them. He leaned his forehead on hers and grinned. "Be my girl?" He asked with his arms still around her and his eyes closed.

"Be my girl?"
Mimi beamed, "Yes of course!" She nearly exclaimed, hugging him tighter. She sighed slightly, as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Now what?" She asked with a slight giggle, as she bit her lip. She didn't know the 'rules' for a relationship. What were you supposed to do? Just run around with each other until one of the two found someone else or something better to do? She stole a glance at Roger, he would never do that....would he?
She stared out at the river, the water was almost sparkling because of the sun, and it wasn't too hot outside. It was almost the perfect temperature.
